Best Hyundai Pressure Washer UK (2026)

The Hyundai to buy for a UK yard in 2026 is the HYW3100P2. It is a petrol jet wash with an Annovi Reverberi triplex pump, 213 bar and 10 L/min. This page is the brand hub: which of the three current Hyundais to buy, what parts you can still get, and who each frame is for.

Hyundai on this site is petrol only. We have not priced an electric Hyundai, so this hub does not invent one. If you have a tap and a 13A socket, start on the electric pressure washer guide, not here. The type decision is petrol vs electric.

It is not a lab test. Specs come from Hyundai Power Equipment. Street prices come from Hyundai UK, Machine Direct and Amazon in August 2026.

If you click through and buy, we may earn a commission.

Start with the job. A long lane, a yard, or a plot the lead will not reach, and the machine will come out often, is the HYW3100P2. A first petrol buy if you will not spend £600 is the HYW3400P. A farm-scale rinse and a tap that can actually feed 15 L/min is the HYW4000P. Sealey, Draper and the Honda-engined Kärcher live on the petrol pressure washer page. A long drive that still has a socket is usually a K5 on the driveway guide, not a 213 bar Hyundai. First-use setup, nozzles and frost drain-down are on how to use a pressure washer.

Hyundai HYW3100P2

The best Hyundai pressure washer for most UK yards

  • Buy: Hyundai UK £599.99 · specialists have sat at the same ticket · Amazon (listing exists; live price not captured this check)
  • Pressure: 213 bar / 3100 psi max
  • Flow: 10 L/min (600 L/h)
  • Engine: Hyundai 212cc 4-stroke, recoil start, 5.25 kW, 3.6 L tank
  • Pump: Annovi Reverberi RSV 3G31 triplex, ceramic pistons, brass head
  • Hose: 7.5 m (7.62 m in the box list)
  • Weight: 38 kg net
  • Noise: 108 dB at 7 m
  • Who it is for: homeowners and smallholders who want a petrol jet wash for drives, patios, brick and the occasional van, without stepping into a 60 kg frame

This is the current Hyundai mid-range, not the older HYW3100P (2800 psi, sold out on the official site). The P2 is the one with the AR triplex pump. That pump is the reason this page exists. Spend £599.99 here if the machine will come out every fortnight. Spend £252 on the HYW3400P if it will not.

Annovi Reverberi is a real spare-parts name. The RSV 3G31 is why people pay the extra over an axial box that prints a higher bar figure. Axial pumps are fine for weekend use. A triplex pump with ceramic pistons is what you want if you will still be buying seals and oil in ten years.

213 bar sits well above a Kärcher K5 (145 bar). Flow at 10 L/min is what actually rinses a drive. A typical UK outdoor tap can feed this if the hose run is short and the stopcock is open. Gravity feed from a barrel is listed at 2 m. Hyundai says to prime on a mains tap first.

The honest trade against the cheaper Hyundai is hose and weight, not punch. The P2 hose is 7.5 m. The HYW3400P has 10 m and a 5 L detergent tank in the frame. You move a 38 kg trolley more often. Pneumatic tyres (Hyundai also says puncture-proof) help on gravel. They do not make it a one-hand lift into a hatchback.

It is still a 108 dB petrol engine on a steel frame. Register the machine if you want the three-year domestic cover. Commercial use is one year. Terms apply. Recoil start only. Four-stroke oil in the sump, straight unleaded in the tank. No 2-stroke mix.

Class shopping, including Sealey and the Honda Kärcher, stays on the petrol guide. If the lead will still reach, walk back to petrol vs electric before you buy noise.

Skip it if a 130 to 145 bar mains washer will reach the job. That is electric, not a smaller Hyundai. Skip it if you will use petrol only a few times a year and the budget is £250. That is the HYW3400P. Skip it if you want a Honda engine and a dealer network. That is the HD 7/15 G on the petrol page, at three times the money.

Hyundai HYW3400P

The Hyundai to buy if you will not spend £600

  • Buy: Hyundai UK £252 (was £279.99). Machine Direct has listed £279.99
  • Pressure: 234 bar / 3400 psi max. One UK dealer quotes 193 bar / 2800 psi rated
  • Flow: 9 L/min
  • Engine: Hyundai 209cc 4-stroke Euro V, 4.3 kW, 3.3 L tank
  • Pump: axial, with a pressure relief valve
  • Hose: 10 m
  • Weight: 27.5 kg net
  • Extras: 5 L detergent tank, five quick-release tips (0°, 15°, 25°, 40°, soap)
  • Who it is for: a first petrol buy for a house with a long garden, a dirty drive and no wish to spend £600

The price gap is the point. £252 at Hyundai UK against £599.99 for the P2 is why this box is on the page. Other shops sit around £280. That is still less than half the AR machine.

The headline 234 bar looks stronger than the HYW3100P2. Treat that as a peak figure on an axial pump, not as a reason to skip the dearer machine. Rated pressure, where published, sits nearer 193 bar. The honest advantages are price, weight, a 10 m hose and a detergent tank in the frame. The P2 has none of those last two.

Parts are the catch. An axial pump keeps the ticket at £252. It is not the pump you want if you will still be looking for a rebuild kit in a decade. If weekly use is the plan, the extra on the P2 is the AR RSV 3G31, not another 20 bar on a carton.

Gravity feed only works if the water source sits higher than the pump. Hyundai is clear about that. A water butt on a stand is fine. A barrel on the floor is not. The P2 and the 4000P list a 2 m draw once primed. This one does not get that trick for free.

At 27.5 kg this is the only current Hyundai one reasonably fit adult can load without a second pair of hands. It is still louder and smellier than any electric. The three-year home warranty is the same Hyundai offer as the dearer models, again subject to their terms.

Skip it if you will use it weekly, or you want a pump you can still buy named parts for in ten years. Spend the extra on the HYW3100P2. Skip it if cars are the only job. Electric is quieter, lighter and cheaper to own for a Saturday wheel clean. See petrol vs electric.

Hyundai HYW4000P

The Hyundai to buy only if the plot is huge

  • Buy: Hyundai UK £899.99 · specialists have sat at the same ticket · Amazon (listing exists; live price not captured this check)
  • Pressure: 275 bar / 4000 psi max. One dealer quotes 250 bar / 3625 psi rated
  • Flow: 15 L/min (900 L/h)
  • Engine: Hyundai IC420, 420cc 4-stroke, 9 kW, 6.5 L tank, low-oil cut-out
  • Pump: Annovi Reverberi RSV 4G40 triplex, thermal relief
  • Hose: 15 m (15.24 m in the box list)
  • Weight: 60.4 kg net
  • Noise: 111 dB at 7 m
  • Who it is for: farms, plant, commercial vehicles, and houses with a huge drive plus a tap that can actually supply 15 L/min

This is the top of Hyundai’s current petrol range. The 15 m hose is the practical upgrade as much as the extra bar. You park the frame once and work a long run. The AR 4G40 is a bigger triplex than the 3G31 in the P2, with thermal relief, and it is built for longer sessions.

The catch is water, not power. 15 L/min is more than many UK garden taps will give on a summer evening. Starving the pump wrecks seals. Hyundai allows mains or gravity feed (2 m draw) and tells you to prime on a tap first. If your outdoor tap is a trickle, this is the wrong machine. Buy the P2, or stay electric if the lead reaches.

At 60 kg it needs a van, a ramp or two people. 111 dB at 7 m is hearing protection and a conversation with the neighbours. Same three-year domestic / one-year commercial warranty as the smaller Hyundais, terms apply. The low-oil cut-out is worth having on a 420cc sump.

275 bar on paint is how you pay for a respray. Use a 40° tip, keep your distance, or do not point it at a family car at all. The P2 is the house petrol if a car has to share the same Saturday.

Skip it if you wash cars more than yards. Skip it if a 10 L/min P2 will finish the plot. Skip it if the tap cannot feed 15 L/min. The extra money buys hose, flow and a bigger AR pump, not a nicer hatchback wash.

Who it is for

A Hyundai pressure washer is for a UK plot that a 13A lead will not reach, or that 400 to 500 L/h will not finish in one go. You still need a water source. Petrol does not invent a tap.

  • Weekly or fortnightly petrol, AR parts, not 60 kg. HYW3100P2.
  • First petrol, £250 to £280, occasional use, and you will load it yourself. HYW3400P.
  • Farm, plant, a huge drive, and a tap that can feed 15 L/min. HYW4000P.
  • Tap and socket on the drive, cars and a normal patio. Leave this page. Start on the electric guide.
  • Long or green drive, tap and socket still there. A K5, still electric. See the driveway page.
  • Honda engine, dealer network, trade week. HD 7/15 G on the petrol page, not a bigger Hyundai.

How to choose

Which Hyundai

Do not shop the bar number on the carton. The 3400P prints 234 bar and costs £252. The P2 prints 213 bar and costs £599.99. The useful split is the pump, how often you will pull the cord, and whether you can lift 28 kg or must wheel 38 kg.

  1. The machine will come out every fortnight. HYW3100P2. Pay for the AR RSV 3G31.
  2. A few times a year, and £600 is too much. HYW3400P. Accept the axial pump, take the 10 m hose and the lighter frame.
  3. The plot is huge and the tap can feed 15 L/min. HYW4000P. Otherwise the extra money is wasted flow.

If you are still choosing petrol against a K4 or a K5, stop and read petrol vs electric. A 213 bar Hyundai on a Fiesta is how paint gets marked. A K4 on a 40 m yard is how a Saturday disappears. Those are type problems, not Hyundai problems.

Parts, pump and warranty

The brand reason to stay with Hyundai, rather than a no-name 3000 psi frame, is a published pump and a phone number. Annovi Reverberi is the name on the P2 and the 4000P. RSV 3G31 in the mid-range. RSV 4G40, with thermal relief, in the big frame. The HYW3400P is axial. That is how it hits £252, and that is why it is the occasional machine.

Change the pump oil. Do not run dry. Drain the pump before frost. Four-stroke engines take straight unleaded and a separate sump of SAE30 or 15W40. Low-oil cut-out is on the 4000P. Recoil start is standard on all three. None of these is electric-start.

Hyundai’s domestic cover is three years, commercial one year, registration and terms apply. Register the serial if you want the home cover. Do not assume a marketplace listing has done that for you.

Water, weight and noise

A mains tap is the reliable feed. Short, unkinked hose. Open the stopcock fully. Gravity feed is a bonus, not a given. The P2 and the 4000P list a 2 m draw once you have primed on a tap. The 3400P needs the source above the pump. None of the three is specified to suck from a pond. That job is the HD 7/15 G on the petrol page.

27 kg is a lift. 38 kg is a wheel. 60 kg is a two-person job. Hyundai quotes 108 dB at 7 m on the P2 and 111 dB on the 4000P. Ear defenders for you, a text to next door, and do not run it at 8am on a terrace of houses. Fumes mean outdoors only, never a closed garage.

Setup, tips and winter drain-down are on how to use a pressure washer. Start on a 40° tip, a metre back, until you know the gun. A 0° jet on pointing or paint is how you pay twice.

Skip it if

  • Skip every Hyundai here if a 13A lead will reach a K4 or a K5. You are buying noise and fuel for a job electric already finishes. Start on the electric guide.
  • Skip the P2 if use is occasional and the budget is £250. That is the HYW3400P, with the weaker pump accepted.
  • Skip the HYW3400P if you will use petrol every fortnight. Spend the extra on the AR pump.
  • Skip the HYW4000P if the plot is a house, the tap is thin, or cars are the job.
  • Skip this hub if you wanted Sealey, Draper or a Honda Kärcher next to the Hyundais. That class comparison is the petrol page.

What we left out

Electric Hyundais. We do not have a priced mains or battery Hyundai in the files. This hub is petrol only. If you wanted a plug-in, use the electric guide.

Older HYW3100P and P4200PWT. Both were listed on Hyundai UK and sold out at the time of writing. The 3100P is the 2800 psi leftover, not the current P2. Do not hunt leftovers unless the price is clearly below the P2 and you can still get parts.

Kärcher HD 7/15 G. Trade petrol, Honda GX160, about £1,767 to £2,299. Not a Hyundai. Pointer only, via the petrol page. Useful if you already want Professional parts and a dealer network. It is not three times better than the P2 for a Saturday patio.

Sealey PWM2500 and Draper Expert 83819. Real petrol alternatives, not Hyundais. They sit on the class page so this hub can stay on which Hyundai.

FAQ

What is the best Hyundai pressure washer in the UK right now?

The HYW3100P2, if you have already decided on petrol. AR triplex pump, 213 bar, 10 L/min, £599.99, and a three-year domestic warranty if you register it. If the budget is £250 to £280 and use is occasional, the HYW3400P is the honest cheaper Hyundai, with a lighter frame and a weaker pump.

Does Hyundai make an electric pressure washer?

Not one we can price. The three current boxes on this site are petrol: HYW3400P, HYW3100P2 and HYW4000P. If you have a tap and a socket, buy electric from another brand. Start on the electric guide.

Is the cheaper Hyundai enough?

As a first petrol buy, yes. The HYW3400P at £252 is lighter, has a 10 m hose and a detergent tank. The pump is axial. If the machine will come out every fortnight, spend £599.99 on the P2 and the AR triplex. That is the whole Hyundai decision.

Do I need the HYW4000P?

Only if the plot is huge and the tap can feed 15 L/min. You get a 15 m hose, a 420cc engine and the AR 4G40. You also get 60 kg and 111 dB. Most houses should stop at the P2.

Can I wash a car with a Hyundai pressure washer?

Yes, carefully, on a 40° or soap nozzle, from a sensible distance. The HYW3400P and HYW3100P2 are the ones to use. The HYW4000P is overkill unless you are rinsing a tractor. A mains K4 is still the better car washer. Paint-safe electric settings sit on the cars page. The type warning is on petrol vs electric.

Do I need a tap for a Hyundai?

You need a water source. A mains tap is the reliable one. The P2 and the 4000P will gravity-feed from a raised barrel once primed (2 m draw). The HYW3400P needs the source above the pump. A thin garden tap will starve the HYW4000P.

How loud is a Hyundai pressure washer?

Hyundai quotes 108 dB at 7 m on the P2 and 111 dB on the 4000P. Wear ear protection. Do not expect to chat over it, and do not run it early on a tight street. That noise is one reason electric is the default house machine.

Hyundai or another petrol brand?

Hyundai is the named-brand petrol we send most households to: published AR pumps on the dearer boxes, a three-year domestic warranty if you register, and street prices we can date. Sealey, Draper and the HD 7/15 G belong on the petrol page if you want a stockist network, a Costco ticket or a Honda engine. This hub stays on which Hyundai.
