£252 against £599.99 is the point. Treat 234 bar as a peak on an axial pump. Rated figures, where published, sit nearer 193 bar. You get price, a longer hose and a frame one adult can load. You do not get the pump you want for weekly use. Gravity feed only works if the source sits above the pump. A barrel on the floor is not enough. Skip it if cars are the only job. Electric is quieter and cheaper to own for a Saturday wheel clean.

The 15 m hose is the practical upgrade. You park once and work a long run. The catch is water. 15 L/min starves many UK garden taps on a summer evening. Starving the pump wrecks seals. If the tap is a trickle, buy the P2 or stay electric. At 60 kg you want a van or two people. 275 bar on paint is a respray. Use a 40° tip or do not point it at a family car. Most houses should stop at the P2.
