Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated · 16 August 2026

BestPressureWashers.co.uk is reader-funded through affiliate commissions. This page is the full version of the one-line note at the top of each guide.

The short version

  • If you click through to a retailer from one of our guides and go on to buy, we may earn a commission.
  • The commission is paid by the retailer or the affiliate network, not by you. The price you pay is the same.
  • It does not decide which machine we put first.
  • You are under no obligation to use any link on this site.

Guides link to UK retailers and brand stores. When you click and later buy, Amazon Associates, Awin, or a similar programme may pay us a referral fee. That fee comes from the retailer’s marketing budget.

This is the same model used by most independent UK review sites. It is how the site stays free to read.

How we mark them

Commercial links are tagged `rel=”sponsored”` (and `nofollow` where a network requires it). That is what Google, the ASA CAP Code, and the CMA expect for affiliate marketing.

Every money page also carries a short disclosure at the top: “If you click through and buy, we may earn a commission.”

Partners

We use, or intend to use:

  • Amazon Associates (Amazon.co.uk)
  • Awin and other networks for UK DIY and garden retailers
  • Direct programmes from brands and merchants where they exist (Kärcher, Screwfix, and similar)

The list will change as accounts go live. A missing name on this page does not mean a given outbound link is unpaid.

What this does not change

  • We do not take payment for a favourable review or a higher slot in a roundup.
  • We will recommend a machine with no affiliate path if it is the honest answer, or we will say we cannot send you a paid link.
  • We will say when a deal is gone, when a page 503s, and when a Home kit is a bad price against a bare machine plus a separate head.
  • Own-brand Lidl, Screwfix Titan and Aldi Ferrex stay off the money pages. No usable affiliate path.

If a page ever feels written to force a click, the long-term value of the site depends on fixing it. Editorial drift is the fastest way to ruin a buying guide.

Search the model yourself. Type the shop URL. The guide is still meant to work. Nothing is gated behind a click.

Compliance

We follow the UK ASA CAP Code on affiliate marketing and the CMA’s guidance on online endorsements: clear disclosure, marked commercial links, no hidden relationship.

We are not a retailer, installer, or authorised repairer. We do not sell pressure washers. Prices and stock are the retailer’s, not ours.

Plain-English summary: click, buy, we may earn a cut, you pay the same, and the write-up is not for sale.
